MUSEOS
Céline
My name’s Céline Mülich and I come from Frankfurt in Germany originally. I studied History and Art History (MA). Between 2006 and 2012, I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of working at two major museums in Frankfurt, with a focus on education and communication.
But it wasn’t until I moved to Barcelona that I came up with the idea of creating a website of my own, inspired by all the different museums in the city I now call home. I kept coming across so many museums that didn’t appear in the travel guides and weren’t featured on all the websites out there on Barcelona. And so I set myself the challenge of visiting all of the city’s museums and posting reviews and photos here in 2012.
I finally managed to make it back to Rome for a long weekend in April 2016 after 15 years. And I was surprised by just how much the city had changed. It felt like there were more tourists. There was a lot to take in and a lot of tickets to be bought. I suddenly felt a bit overwhelmed by the sheer volume of attractions, museums, churches and squares to visit. I just didn’t know where to start! That was when I decided to step up and create a website of my own dedicated to Rome – so you wouldn’t have to have the same experience as me.
In 2019, it suddenly felt clear to me that I needed to apply the same concept to Paris since I was there so often anyway. My aim is to be there to help anyone planning a trip to the French capital – once again with a clearly structured website packed with all the important information. But I don’t just stop at opening times and tickets. Here you can read more about the history of the museums and even some of the exhibits.
I added Vienna and Amsterdam to my portfolio of cities in 2020. And then came the idea to combine all five places on one website. My new brand ‘Museos’ was born in Summer 2020 and the website has been live since June 2021.
Have fun exploring! I hope all my research will help you plan your city breaks and make magical memories when you get there!
All the best,
Céline
MY
TEAM
JACQUELINE
Jacqueline is from Zurich in Switzerland. She studied Law and International Relations, before her long-standing love of museums led her to take a Master’s in Museum Studies and Cultural Heritage. She moved to Barcelona in 2003 and works in communications with a focus on museums.
“There’s nothing I would rather do than visit museums, take photos, record videos, write up my thoughts and share this digital content with you on a beautiful website.”
And that’s exactly what she’s been doing for Museos since 2019!
Susi
Susi has been calling two countries home for years now. She has strong ties to both Austria and Italy, where she lives and works. She started her career in advertising, but ultimately decided to combine her passions for communications and tourism to create her dream job.
Susi started working for Museos in Autumn 2019 with the mission of providing people with top tips and handy hints about Rome and Vienna. She also has a podcast called “Mit Susi reisen” (Travel with Susi) if you ever want to join her for an audio tour of Rome and Vienna (in German only).
Anne
Anne studied Literature and Philosophy and has always loved writing. Art is another of her passions – she is interested in everything from classical paintings to street art. In January 2020, she finally made the move from Germany to Paris, driven by her love for the city and her husband.
We all know that Paris is the home of the Louvre and the Mona Lisa. But you’ll be amazed by what else you discover when you really start exploring the city of love. And Anne is more than happy to uncover all the hidden gems and write about them for you.
Boris
Boris has been working full time for a German airline for 15 years and he started a distance learning course on the side in 2020. His heart has been in the Netherlands since October 2019 and he now divides his time between the canals of Amsterdam and the city of Frankfurt. In Summer 2020, he started exploring in and around Amsterdam and capturing its diversity on camera for Museos. Lucky you!
“I hope you enjoy seeing Amsterdam through my eyes! Doei!”

AT HOME
I became a mummy to twins in December 2017 and my two little girls certainly keep me on my toes 😉 But they do now understand that sometimes mummy can play and sometimes mummy has to work! 😉
The girls sometimes even join me on my adventures exploring the museums and other attractions Barcelona has to offer. And they have a great time! Say hello to the next generation of Museos!
As you can imagine, though, it’s not that easy for me to travel around anymore and I need a little help with the research on the ground. Luckily for me, I found my amazing team! Or maybe I should say that they found me?
