Doge's Palace
The Doge’s Palace – “Palazzo Ducale” – was the former residence of the Venetian ruler – the Doge – and the center of the Republic of Venice, of jurisdiction and power.
The Palace is diverse due to its size and history: the prison cells in the basement are eerie, the huge halls impressive, and the view of the sea breathtaking.
