OUR MUST-SEE ATTRACTIONS
ALL ON ONE MAP
Sure, Google Maps is good but don’t you find yourself getting distracted? You don’t really need to know where to find a primary school in Rome or a tax office in Paris when you’re on holiday, do you?
Well, you’re in luck. We’ve created our own maps (based on Google Maps) just for the must-see attractions. And nothing else! The best bit? You can click on each attraction to find out more about it!
HOW DO I USE
1. Scroll, click and search for some serious city break inspiration…
Click on a pin to find out which museum or attraction is at that particular point in the city. The pin will turn gold and a new window will open so you can read more about the sight.
You’ll see its name, our verdict (if we’ve already visited), a photo, a short description and links to find out more and buy tickets.
If you decide to click on the ticket button, you’ll be directed to our ticket seller’s website.
If you just want to read a bit more, you’ll be taken to the relevant page on our Museos website.
2. Search for a specific attraction…
We couldn’t create a map without a search function to give you the option of looking for somewhere specific. It’s a smart search function that starts suggesting options as soon as you start typing the first letter.
Click on the option you’re looking for followed by the “Search” button to pinpoint it on the map. You can then click on the pin to find out more – as described above.
WHY SHOULD I USE THESE MAPS?
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
Our maps are a great way of getting your bearings and a feel for the city.
You can also start working out what other attractions are near your main events for the day.
Say you’re planning a trip to Vienna and you want to visit the KHM. A quick look at the map will show you that there are plenty of other museums nearby. You might even stumble upon somewhere else you’d like to go that you’d have missed otherwise.
If you know roughly whereabouts in the city you’ll be staying, you can also see what’s going to be right on your doorstep.
A quick click on a pin will give you a good overview of an attraction. From there, you can get your hands on a ticket in no time at all (where there are several ticket options, we’ve linked to the standard version from the map). And you can always click on the button to read up on what the Museos team has to say about an attraction before you buy.
If you ask us, our maps are the perfect way to start exploring a city. Get some inspiration and find your bearings without getting distracted by places that are of no interest to you whatsoever. Map out your dream city break!
