Some Numbers
IS THE CARD WORTH IT?
We start relatively high – with 65 euros for 24 hours – in the fun. In comparison, the 120-hour card then only costs 130 euros (approx. 1 euro per hour).
That’s why we take a closer look at the 24-hour card and the 72-hour card.
1. How many museums can you do in one day?
Maybe 3 if you’re really serious, start early and don’t take breaks 😉
24 hours: 65 euros
- Rijksmuseum: EUR 25
- Stedelijk Museum EUR 22.50
- Boat tour Blue Boat: EUR 17
= EUR 64.50
Add maybe 2 trips by public transport.
Then you get EUR +/- 0.
So, no real gain.
2. How many museums can you do in three days?
Personally, I can certainly squeeze 12 things in (when I’m in visit mode for Museos). But you want to enjoy your trip, stroll, take breaks, eat… Let’s stick with 8 must-sees.
72 hours: 108 euros
- Rijksmuseum: EUR 25
- Stedelijk Museum EUR 22.50
- Boat tour Blue Boat: EUR 17
- Moco Museum: EUR 19.50
- Zoo (because there may be children with you): EUR 26.50
- Hermitage (1 exhibition): EUR 18.75 (reduced Admission)
- A’dam Lookout: EUR 16.50
- Heineken Experience: EUR 24.95
= 172.75 euros
Hello, the whole thing looks completely different here! So you can really save here! And that’s EUR 64!
In addition, there are still trips by bus, tram, metro and maybe a borrowed bike!
3. Now I have to do the test. What about 48 hours?
48 hours = EUR 90
We stayed at 2- 3 museums a day = 5 over two days:
- Rijksmuseum: EUR 25
- Stedelijk Museum EUR 22.50
- Boat tour Blue Boat: EUR 17
- Moco Museum: EUR 19.50
- Zoo (because there may be children with you): EUR 26.50
= 110 euros
It would fit here too! EUR 20 saved!
