Torre Bellesguard
Torre Bellesguard
Torre Bellesguard
AN UNKNOWN GAUDÍ
The Torre Bellesguard is a residential building, like some other Gaudí buildings in Barcelona: Casa Milà, Casa Battló, Palau Güell or Casa Vicens. Bellesguard was one of the last houses designed by Gaudí and was actually in private use until 2018.
My Rating:
The positives:
A rather un-known Gaudí house set in an enchantingly tranquil garden. From the roof of the building there is a beautiful panoramic view of Barcelona.
The negatives:
The house is not as well-developed and decorated with less craftsmanship than other Gaudí buildings.
Tip:
Something for Barcelona repeat visitors! After visiting the building, you can stay in the garden for as long as you like. Therefore: Rather come earlier so that you have enough time for it until 3:00 p.m.
